Croatia: Subversive Forum in Zagreb (May 13-19, 2012)
Through a critical examination of Europe’s current crisis, the Subversive Forum will try to outline realistic possibilities for its transformation and the creation of another political, social and economic project across the Old Continent. The international conference of the Forum, "The Future of Europe" will be held from May 13th to May 19th in the Cinema Europe (Kino Europa). In addition to regular guests such as Slavoj Zizek, Tariq Ali, Gianni Vattimo, Gayatri Spivak, and Samir Amin, leading intellectuals of our time such as Stéphane Hessel, Michael Hardt, Saskia Sassen, Renata Salecl, Christian Marazzi, Bernard Cassen, Costas Douzinas, Eric Toussaint and others have confirmed their participation. Every evening from 19.00 until 23.00 they will present keynote lectures and participate in round-table discussions on the possible futures of Europe. The Forum wil also discuss the founding of a Balkan Forum in which over forty organisations, trade unions and individuals will come together in an attempt to lay the foundations for future collaboration and networking in both European and worldwide movements with the aim of further integration.

South Asia Social Forum ends in Dhaka
Five day long South Asia Social Forum (SASF), Bangladesh 2011 ended with new hopes and new determination to build a new South Asia. The closing ceremony of this event was held at the Shadhinota Stombho (Independence Tower Plaza), Sohrawardi Udyan. A total of 724 foreign participants and 2555 local one registered - though several thousand including students from the Dhaka University participated. 618 organizations took part in the forum and more than 150 activities took place. A statement drafted by some of the participating organisations (Dhaka statement) was presented, denouncing social injustice in South Asia and the determination to work together as social movements in the region as one voice.

3me Forum Social Congolaise - appel à la mobilisation
Le forces sociales de toutes les provinces de la République Démocratique du Congo, Syndicats et ONG, mouvements associatifs, Mutuelles de santé, intellectuels, artistes, paysannes et paysans, travailleuses et travailleurs, salariés, étudiants, congolais de la Diaspora, chômeuses et chômeurs, pauvres, se sont réunies au 3e Forum Social Congolais, à Kinshasa, du 23 au 26 octobre 2011 au Carrefour des jeunes de Matonge. Les partecipants ont lancé un "Appel à une mobilisation citoyenne contre le néolibéralisme pour un Congo juste, prospère et fort".

Dhaka: South Asia Social Forum Bangladesh opening rally
18th November, 2011. The inauguration march opening the SASF (South Asian Social Forum) took place today, attracting more than a thousand participants from the region and international ones as well. From Shahbag Jadughar it reached Shahid Minar, where the Inaugural ceremony started at 4.30 pm. The Forum will start its plenary sessions and workshops on the 19th and end on the 21 of November. An "extended" series of events is also planned with teleconferences, allowing distance participation.

20-23 Septembre: Forum Social de Mesopotamie
Le Forum Social de Mésopotamie se réunit à nouveau du 21 au 25 septembre 2011 à Amed (Diyarbakir).
