More than 6.000 women took the street in Istanbul to celebrate with the World March of Women the opening of the 6th edition of the European Social Forum. A huge WMW representative from more than 30 countries met in Istanbul to share experiences and campaigning but also to prepare their contribution to the european agenda of the Social Forum on the issue of “equality against discrimination.”

The ESFstarted with the opening ceremony at Maçka Parkı where give their speeches a TEKEL worker and representatives from the Greek Social Forum, World March of Women and Mesopotamian Social Forum.
