The 2010 World Social Forum process is approaching February 2011, month of celebration of the World Social Forum event in Dakar. From Palestine to Ecuador, from Argentina to Egypt and the rest of the world, in the last months of the year several local and thematic forums will take place with the goal to tackle the global crisis with concrete proposals. Education, democracy, migrants, indigenous peoples, health, environment peace and communication, are just some of the issues discussed towards the 2011 World Social Forum, to share a concrete plan of action focusing on Africa as evidence of the effects of the global crisis – in its many forms: environmental, social and economic – but also on the most effective exit strategies. The global movements are also supporting and promoting several mobilizations arising all around the planet.
