— filed under:

Ahead of this year’s World Social Forum (WSF) billed for February 6 and 11, 2011, in Dakar, Senegal, a two-day training progamme for senior journalists covering the forum begins tomorrow. The capacity building session, according to Hyppolite Dossou Yovo, Head, Radio Department, the Panos Institute West Africa (PIWA), is to prepare the editorial team for the challenge of providing comprehensive media coverage for the global gathering of social movements, networks, non-governmental organisations, and civil society groups opposed to neo-liberalism.
