The Guardian: World Social Forum 2011 Dakar

The World Social Forum takes place in Senegal 6 to 11 February. Its mantra of social change 'another world is possible' proving especially resonant as anti-government protests continue to rock Egypt in the northern part of the continent. The 11th forum, an alternative to the elite World Economic Forum held in Davos last week, brings together civil society groups from around the world.
